BREXIT- What effect does it have on the QLTS?

The long debate of whether the UK should stay or leave was put to rest on early morning 24 June 2016 when the public voted to leave the EU!

For many of you who are reading this post- what you want to really know is how the BREXIT will affect the QLTS exams? and more specifically will it have an immediate effect?

So to put you all at ease- There will be no immediate effect on the QLTS as of now. This means many of you who are sitting the MCT in July 2016 can carry on burning the mid night oil and continue with your prep. For those of you who thought you saw a ray of hope thinking you did not have to study EU law, unfortunately, it’s gonna stay till they say otherwise (making a sad face while writing this)!

Kaplan has issued a statement on their website here saying that the vote to leave EU will not have any effect on the July ’16, Feb ’17 MCT and Nov 15 OSCE because all the exams test candidates on current law; as UK is still preparing to leave the EU and this is a minimum of a 2 year process.

I will write an update when I know if there will be any changes to the curriculum. Obviously subscribe to my blog if you want to here about this.

On another note- All the very best to everyone who is sitting the MCT this week Wednesday!!!
